Hedemora Hefe Weissbier is a traditional wheat beer. We make and brew this brew according to classic South German way. Here it is mainly the yeast that gives the beer its character with flavors of  banana and cloves. Hefe is German for yeast and the name Hefe Weissbier is used to clarify that the beer is unfiltered and that yeast, in varying amounts, can be present in the beer. Oppigård's Heritage Collection is a series of classic beers where we go back to the roots and brew beer of a typical character. With Oppigård's Heritage Collection, we want to manage a beer cultural heritage, in a Hedemora way.
