Single Hop Ale is inspired from a trip to UK. We visited a hop farm and got to try several different beers and hops. Oddly enough we fell for a beer that had been single hopped with a hop variety from Slovenia. As the name suggest this is a single hopped beer. The hop variety Celeia together with quite a bit of wheat malt renders in a light and easy drinking beer with floral notes. The body is light with a light to medium bitterness. The beer is continuously hopped during the boil but the lion part is added late in order to preserve much taste and aroma from the hop.
Seafood, Chicken, pork, spicy food.
Pilsner malt and wheat malt.
